Tri Team Glos made the most of the November sunshine this weekend with Saturday playing host to a lumpy group ride out to Broadway via one of the top 200 climbs (Bushcombe Lane) and a social trail run to the Red Lion pub at Norton (which was closed..)

Sunday found nine TTG’ers (getting photos of everyone is like hearding cats!) in Newent for the Mandy Whittington Newent 9, with Eugenio Diz (otherwise known as Adey Cole) as the fastest TTGer on the day coming in the top 10 with a time of 36:04, and Jon Murgatroyd fast walking his way through a broken shoulder blade. It was an excellent local race, with some tough climbs and excellent cake, highly recommended for 2023, results here

In a similar vein, Luke Taylor took on the incredibly tough Broadway Marathon, with almost 1000m of climbing and no real breaks in the terrain. Well done Luke!

That’s it for this week, hopefully the weather holds and we’ll see you all at Tuesday’s coached run.
